2012 Silverado popping noise under hood

I have a 2012 Silverado 1500 crew with the all star package. 4K miles. When I start driving (usually before it shifts into 2nd) I can a "popping" noise coming from under the hood and feel a vibration through the gas pedal. It has been to the dealership but no luck. They thought it might be the tranny lock disengaging but that wasn't it. Has anyone else had this problem? I can also smell oil burning coming from under the hood and they couldn't find that either. Thanks.

oil burning ????,,,makes no sense with 4 k on it ,,,

 

take the service manager on a road test in an identical truck from the lot and then your truck,

 

do that ...

 

if no luck again/still,call regoinal service manager and get MAD

 

its not your problem to fix it or tell them what to fix by asking here ,,,,

 

PM the GM chick /guy here on this site ,,,he/she can help i guess

My shot in the dark, you mistake the popping for the condenser kicking on. Gov is right this is a not going to be solved here. Get on the dealer!
