Gorilla Wheel Lock System / Wheel Locking Lug Nuts - Chrome

For sale is a full set of Acorn Style Chrome Gorilla Locking Lug Nuts 6 Lug. They are made out of hardened steel and chrome.

The Acorn style is the design of the lug nuts that are 1.40" of Total Depth. They are rounded with an external Security Pattern set deep so that a thief cannot jam a socket on the lug or jam a piece of molding clay on top of one with an internal Security Pattern.

Protect your aftermarket rims and tires!

These aren't just for aftermarket rims and tires. I purchased these for my 2008 GMC Sierra AFTER a thief stole my STOCK 20" rims and tires. Fortunately, they only got away with one as the jack fell on them leaving one wheel and tire gone, the other wheel and tire halfway on the hub and halfway off and the two front wheels and tires remaining on the truck. I came out in the morning to go to work when I discovered my truck had been tainted. On the ground were all 24 lug nuts. They removed all of the lug nuts and proceeded to remove my wheels.

If you think your factory rims and tires are not targeted, then let me explain the cost of replacing your stock wheels for my GMC Sierra from Classic Buick GMC, the GMC Dealership where I had just purchased the truck just a few months before a thief went after my truck.

1 Factory GMC Wheel

1 Goodyear LS-2 Tire

1 Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor (TPMS)

1 Mounting and Balancing

Tax

Total: $1142

Total for all 4 wheels, tires, TPMS, Mounting and Balancing, and Tax: $4568

Would be cheaper just to purchase aftermarket rims

$60 now or $3000-$6000 later!

Total of 24 Lug Nuts and one Unique Key. Using a set of Gorilla Locks is cheaper than purchasing wheel lugs and locks separately. This will lock all 6 lugs on each wheel for a total of 24 lugs installed securely.

Gorilla has more unique keys than any other manufacturer of locking lug nuts so you won't have to worry about someone using a key that will match up to your unique lug nuts.

This came off of my 2008 GMC Sierra.

I wanted the best lug nuts possible and after some research, I came to these. I paid $139 for them at the time from Wheel Repair Solutions in Carrollton.

VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!! Even if you don't purchase these, MAKE SURE TO PURCHASE A SET OF QUALITY LUG NUT LOCKS. The BEST IS GORILLA.

I am running into this issue right now with a cheap quality locking lug nuts that came on my used Nissan Armada. The lug nuts themselves are rusting out on the outside, the chrome is flaking off and they are stripped. The key is also cheap as it has cracked right down the middle and I have had to cut it shorter twice already past the cracked part. So with the lug nuts that are stripped and the key being split, I am unable to get my wheels off. I have to go to a tire shop as soon as I get a new set of Gorilla Locking Lug Nut System and have them use a master key to get them off.

With Gorilla, there is no master key. They have over 400 different Security Patterns, the most of any manufacturer, so the chances of someone else having a Gorilla key, let alone the same Gorilla Key that fit's your Security Pattern is near impossible. You have a greater chance of getting struck by lightning.

The Thread Size is 14 x 1.50, which is 14mm x 1.50mm. These will fit an endless amount of other vehicles. I need 12mm x 1.25mm Gorilla Locking Lug Nuts
