meteor shower...

for those of you who didn't know, there was a meteor shower this moring.  we drove out to a cow farm to see it, there were about 200 people there watching.  it was pretty cool.

I saw some of it up here tonight too .   Way better than any fireworks.  It was literally stopping traffic.

We had dense fog grrrrr but i can say the fog lights on my truck worked well

 

We seen a meteor shower this summer when me and gf went fishing.  SPent about 2 hours laying down in the bed of the truck watching

Me and my son set out on our patio and watched it.  He thought it was really cool.

Dang I wish I could have seen that!  We also had that d@mn crazy fog.  Worst fog I've seen in my life-I'm not kidding you last night on the highway you could not see taillights 30 yards ahead of you.  There were several accidents.

It was a perfect night here.. Clear skys and warm weather.. I got a quick nap and got up at like 2 in the morning to watch it..

 

Completely worth the trouble too..!!!

It started out cloudy here and then cleared up by the time they really started going it was great, the wife would come wake me up and give me a report on how it was going and then we would get the kids up to watch because of not knowing when you might get to see something like that again.  I haven't heard as much about tonight but I understand that you will be able to see somemore tonight about the same time just not as many as this morning.

Scientists say it won't be that good again for another 30+ years.

 

Now I'm staying up all night and won't get up tommorow until 2PM.

a cow farm???  Were you sure to check your shoes before you got in your truck

well it was not in the field.  it was at an ice cream shop owned by the cow farm that is next to the cow farm
