Oil Change - 6.2L V8 Sierra Denali

I own a 2010 GMC Sierra Denali 6.2l v8.

I am planning on doing a oil change shortly, I have mobil 1 5w30 w/mobil 1 filter m1-113.

Wondering how easy it is on this truck? Location of filter? Location of drain plug and size? I know it takes 6 liters.

Do i need to remove the skidplate to access anything?

I tried looking under it last night breifly but ths snow was dripping all over my face and eyes so couldnt see anything,,

Basically looking for some information to make my life easier when I go to do it. Pictures would really help if anyone has any!!!

thanks

6 quart capacity, 15mm drain plug will be located on the passenger side of the oil pan. Filter is on the driver's side. Real simple. Skid plate won't cause you any issues.

Yep. One of the easiest vehicles you'll ever change the oil in.
