GMT 800 "BIG 3" Wire Kit.

I had this Big 3 wire upgrade professionally installed on my 06 silverado by a local custom stereo shop. This was installed on my old truck for about a year or so. This is not a off the shelf kit , but one where the installer custom cut , crimped , lugged the ends and installed the ground stud into the frame. What I am selling here is the 1/0 power wire , and 2 - 1/0 ground wires . All 3 wires are approx 31" give or take (please look at picture with ruler). The frame grounding lug is also included for the ground wires (black).

On my truck I swapped in an odyssey battery with top terminals and side terminals. I had them hook this up so my factory wires went to the side, and the big 3 and all accessory went to the top.

What I am also including is the top post - grounding adapter , and the Digital + adapter. These both accept the 1/0 big 3 wire , and various sizes accesory wires.

The way the shop hooked this up was :

Positive wire (red) ~ Went from Alt. to Positive on battery.

Grounding wire 1~ Went from Ground on battery to frame lug

Grounding wire 2~ Went from Ground on engine just below alt (there is an arrow on block with a bolt that says ground), to the same lug as grounding wire 1.

Looking to get $100 for all of this. (shipping free to US. ) Anywhere else please inquire.

Judging by the prices of this wire (Stinger 1/0) and everything being all crimped, This is very fair.

Especially since the Digital + top post adapter was $30 alone.

Any questions , please ask. Here are a bunch of pics showing what it looks like.

I had pics of how i had it hooked up on battery but cannot find them...Will continue to look.

I definitely saw an improvement over stock with my truck. The main purpose I did it was to upgrade my electrical system for all of the hid's I had on the old truck, as well as other aux lights, compresssors for train horns, and stereo. But the "big 3" is one of the more common things to upgrade when trying to get the most out of your alternator and battery.

I plan on doing it on my new truck also. I was planning on using this kit over,But the 900`s have the battery in different location and I need longer wire.

There is all HQ materials used in this. The wire is Stinger , which is known for there quality. The one thing I noticed when I did this upgrade was on my old truck if I put up both windows together at night with my lights on, it didn't dim the dash lights or headlights as severe. This wire allowed the alt to transfer the current faster to suit the needs of demand.

Thinking about it Jerry, I don't have a battery with top posts yet though.

Well I could still use the digital top post display and the other top post connector on my truck when i re do my setup..

I'll sell just the wiring for $70 shipped. All you should have to do is get some connectors that would fit with your battery. Since you would be adding to it, the length would be the same and still work.

How much did you want for it all?

I can paypal you this week for it, What did you run for an alternator? I upgraded my 105 to a 145 but id like to go with something like a 200 or 250.

I was looking to get $100 for it all shipped, But since you would be a repeat customer after buying the stereo and since you arent far away, I'll sell it to you for $90 Shipped

For the alternator, I ran a DC Power 280 amp. Which I did take it off the truck since I wasnt going to let the dealer have that since it was $400+!

A buddy told me it would fit my new truck but something about I couldnt get the full 280amp out of it because of the computer... So I'm not sure what I am going to do with that yet.. I might sell it if it wont do me any good. The combination of the odyssey battery / huge alt / and big 3 wiring was awesome for running all my lights / compressors / etc..
