Aristone Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 After mulling over different covers I came up with the Bak Flip F1. Isn't too expensive, lockable and looks great. Anyone have any expierances with these covers? Or should I look at other options? I need a lockable secure cover Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
GasHog369 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 I love my F1. I got it for 20% off on a st. patricks day deal from stylintrucks.com I would however not recommend the G2. My dad has that version, cheaper , but heavier. And the worst thing is it heats up big time in the sun since its aluminum on top. The F1 is aluminum on bottom and fiberglass on top. Alot more durable / lighter. And you can see how flush it is..
CKNSLS Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 I also have an F1. I have owned it for two years. It's a great cover and only weighs 50pounds.
Aristone Posted March 11, 2013 Author Posted March 11, 2013 Thanks, ill put my order in tomorrow Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

GasHog369 Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Anyone ever hear of these guys? http://www.diamondbackcovers.com/ Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HDIve heard of them.. Look extremely strong, but is not easy to open / remove all the way to fit something large.Hard folding is the way to go, and bakflip has the design to open right to back window. Check out my picture i posted.
Aristone Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013 Your correct. Not clean looking like the F1... Too constructionish . Where would be the best place to order one? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Jennabear Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Give me a holler if you would like a quote. Sent from an ice cream sammich.
lfb57 Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 If you haven't purchased the Balflip F1 yet take a look at the Fold a Cover. I've owned both and the Fold a Cover has much more secure closures and is heavier duty. The Bakflip has nylon strikers, the ones on the Fold a Cover lock on a pin like on your truck's door. Also can be opened from the front as well as the back.
superchargedss Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Another +1 for the F1. Have one on my Silvy and dig it.
