My persistant nagging paid off!!!!

After waiting for over a year for my wife's permission, I finally got the ok to purchase my tv.

We went to get the 32" but they sold the last one while we were discussing why I shouldn't have the 36". So, we got the 36". Talk about a heavy sonofa#####...the da^^ thing weighs 212 pounds.

Sorry about the mess around my computer, hadn't gotten that cleaned up yet.

Went to my "more money than brains" uncles house on our trip....he has just gotten a new 60"...it was UNBELIEVABLE....36" doesnt suck either!!!

Wow, "Gone in 60 Seconds" excellent choice. TV's looks good, puts my 10 year old 27" to shame

Is that a 36" Sony Trinitron? SWEET I also like the surround sound system you have going (at least the center and two fronts) Can't go wrong with Gone in 60 Seconds.

The front speakers are Paradigm 9SE MKII's. I bought a cheap Sony surround set to fill the temporary void until I get everything finished out with Paradigm stuff.

The tv is a Sony Trinitron Wega. Unfortunatly, not a HD. Still a ton better than my 25" emerson that bled bright colors across the screen.

You'll love that TV. I have a Toshiba 50" Cinema Series HDTV compatible. It's probably one of the best things I've ever owned!!! Movies and sports are Great!!! I don't have a 5.1 Dolby set-up, so I just run the TV speakers as the center channel and run left and right channels through my Bose 701's.
