GMT-900 DL3 Mirrors from 2007 Silvy LTZ located in MO

I just installed my tow mirrors on my 2007 NBS Silverado LTZ. Initially I was going to keep the DL3s and reinstall them when I get rid of the truck. Sell the tow mirrors. But since I am going to have the switch door modules reprogrammed, I don't think I can switch them back w/o having to reprogram them back. PITA! So to recoup some of my expenses on the tow mirrors, I'll sell the DL3s. They are in very good condition. Bought the truck in 07/2007 and they have been on for 87k miles. As you can see in the pictures, they have been well taken care of. I added the small spot mirrors when I bought the truck. The spots are where they are because I didn't want to cover the turn signals. Heat works. Auto-dim works. Power fold works. The mirror caps are dark blue - the white lines on the mirror caps are reflections of the ceiling lights in the garage. I'm including the LTZ switch panel after I get the new switch panel programmed. That will be by the end of this month.

Asking $300 for the pair of DL3 mirrors. Asking $25 for the switch panel. Shipping additional. I'm located in zip 63025.

The seat memory option on the LTZ is set up for the DL3 mirrors. With the tow mirrors on, pressing the memory button moves the mirrors to some different positions. The new door switches aren't programmed at all so when I put them in, nothing was working correctly. Some members have said that they can put up with repositioning the mirrors every time they get moved. I could probably live with it too but if and when I get rid of my truck, I want them working correctly for the next person.

So the switch panel is programmed already to work with the dl3 mirrors? Trying to understand what you're saying clearly. I'm thinking about upgrading my 2012 lt tahoe mirrors. Is there anything else I'd need to do to get this to work fully with all the options power fold, heat etc?

In the instructions that came with the tow mirrors, it said that I had to have the new switch panel AND the existing passenger panel reprogrammed for the DPN mirrors. IF I were to reinstall the DL3 mirrors, I have to reinstall the switch panel with the power fold switch back in, and have the passenger switch panel reprogrammed for the DL3 mirrors. I have no idea why they didn't make this a plug n play option... So to answer your question - yes the old switch panel is programmed for the DL3 mirrors. I am not sure what else you would need to do. I guess you could contact your dealership and ask them or maybe someone on the board would know.

I'm slow sorry. So the switch panel that you're including is the driver side panel that is programmed for the dl3 mirrors?

That is correct. I am including the DL3 switch panel, with the power folding switch, that came with my truck when I bought it. I had the new switch panel installed and programmed last week.

    • This is a really late reply but I just found this thread. They won't sell the hinges. I've gone 7 rounds with them. Their solution is to buy a new cover. I'm about to buy a new cover and it won't be a Bakflip. It also won't be from realtruck.com.
    • Yes, and also pulling heavy trailers or a large camper up steep grades as well as descending grades such as the more rustic off road camping locations and using engine braking with that low gearing as well as soft ground can just suck the power . I realize pickups these days tend to have an over all lower first gear ratio compared to automatic transmission pickups from years back so that has helped a lot in its ability in high range but there comes a point if in four wheel drive the torque runs out at the wheels, certainly with a gas engine. They don't put two speed transfer cases on pickups for a cool factor, they have a function if one needs that massive torque to the wheels that high range can't deliver.
    • Notes 7/18/2026   3,400 miles on this batch of Mobil 1 Euro 5W40 since the GDI pump replacement. Alcohol runs very clean when ring seal is tight and the sump isn't getting hosed with fuel. Checked oil level at fill up today as is my practice and grabbed a white Kleenex to look at the color. What color?  I was going to change it but.....
    • 4 low is really nice on steep boat ramps.
    • Interesting, I suspect I would have fueled up in Lee Vining as the day prior I would have filled up either in Laughlin or near there and maybe again before I entered Death Valley and once out the other side late that evening as I kept on driving into the night up near Lee Vining. Next morning I most likely fueled up in LV before heading over Tioga Pass into ( as I refer to it as "Yose .... Mite" 😁 ). And again that was 19 years ago but the price then must not have jumped out at me like the 5 bill a gallon theme of nutty cult hippy country Big Sir or head so far up their rear Aspen. I'd be curious to know where the highest prices are in the lower 48, I probably would not be far off to guess somewhere in Cali forn ie. Coldfoot and Prudhoe bay may have those prices beat but that is a whole other world up there and when prices are more normal elsewhere that is about what they can be up there I believe in no mans land. Anyway interesting that the 395 corridor is hosing people and the thing is, its tourist season and its not like there are a lot of competition options when driving up that highway from what I could see. Yup, big ole Boaterhomes and various other RV's ahead and behind me at the Yosemite entrance gate and they have to get their fuel somewhere.
