what tire size before rear end gear change?

I have a 2010 silverado 1500 with the 5.3 and 3.42 rear end. Thinking about going with either a 4" or 6" lift Wondering how big of tires I can run before I have to gear it down.

I'd say a 33" is safe to run if you have 3.42's

You can run any size you want. Gears are not required.

i would regear for the sake of getting some of your power back. i would regear at anything over a 35
