07 Silverado, Speakers work and then they dont.

I have a 07 Silverado, just within the past few days my speakers decide one day to stop working, and then the next day, only one side will work. the following day both sides work. The rear speakers have stopped working all together. The front speakers work whenever they feel like it. Has anyone els had this problem, and if so did you figure it out and how?Thanx for any advice.

Sounds like a head unit issue. Might need to swap radios to see if that will fix your problem.

Stock speakers are known to be crap. They either go out or are intermittent.

Usually a simple fix: replace your speakers. Go with a better quality and it will sound better than the originals ever did.

Yeah the paper cone and voice coils in those speakers are really cheap. Ive done car audio and electronics for 17 years and I replaced A LOT of those speakers....lol
