Mckenzie Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Im interested in the stock 18 inch silverado rims for my 6 inch ntd kit because it calls for 18 inch rims, and these are relatively cheap and i like the way they look. What are the specs on these rims such as backspacing, width, and offset? Plan on running 37x13.5s on them http://0.tqn.com/d/trucks/1/0/v/k/07_silv_wheeldesign.jpg
blackout07 Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 One should not. The wheels are 8" wide with +31 offset.
Mckenzie Posted May 22, 2013 Author Posted May 22, 2013 You can i have seen plenty of people do it. What is the backspacing? The kit requires a 4.5 backspacing for the rims
zach1990 Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I may be wrong but I believe you'll need small spacers. And I've got 12.50s on stockers and they are wearing horribly Sent from my SGH-I927 using Tapatalk 2
Mckenzie Posted May 22, 2013 Author Posted May 22, 2013 Awesome thanks! Where were you able to find that out at?
blackout07 Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Don't recall. It's been posted on here by me and some others a dozen or so times. All of GMs wheels are +31 offset. So if you know the width, you can calculate the bs.
