Meguiars Ultimate products with Machine Polisher: results

Ok, the products I used were:

Griots Garage Machine Polisher

Meguiars Soft Buff Cutting Pad

Meguiars Soft Buff 2.0 Polishing PAd

Meguiars Soft Buff 2.0 Finishing Pad

Meguiars Ultimate Compound

Meguiars Ultimate Polish

Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax

MULTIPLE microfiber cloths(The compound and polish dirties/clogs them up pretty fast, I had to use 6 or 7 for the whole process for my car)

I had clayed my car a few months ago and didn't feel the need to do it again this time, which speaks even more for the results.

BEFORE: just after a wash with dawn soap

After step 1: Soft buff Cutting pad & Ultimate Compound, polisher set at full speed. I wish it cut a little more, but the results speaks for itself.

After step 2: Soft buff Polishing pad & Ultimate Polish, polisher set at roughly 2/3rds speed. Ultimate polish dries FAST and is a pain to get off if that happens and you use too much(trick to remove, use a little spit). This does an excellent job, and if you only have light paint issues, or light colored paint, you could easily start with this step. Sorry about no flash. Didn't notice until it was too late.

After step 3: Soft buff finishing pad & Ultimate Wax*, followed by a Ultimate Spray Wax*,(the spots are tiny rock chips you cant see in normal light :(

Final, no flash(flash brings up the imperfections), look at added depth!

*on dark colors, The Ultimate liquid wax streaks HORRIBLY on a well prepared surface. A quick run with spray wax solves most of that, or a few hours in the sun and a wash will solve all of it

Lol I'll get a new last pic without flash.

I didnt even notice until you said something, heh. Difference is still very noticeable. The first pic is really how it looked in direct sunlight. The last pic is how it looks now. Those tiny chips arent that noticeable in person.
