2013 Sierra Nav, is the XM radio integrated?

I've been trying to find out whether the XM module is actually integrated into the Nav unit or whether it's a seperate module as it was in previous years, anyone have a definative answer?

Nope, it is integrated on the nav unit. It is separate on the non nav unit.

Everything is on the touch screen display. When I use duel display the song info is on the left and the map is on the right and my favorite station buttons are across the bottom.

As stated before the XM tuner is integrated into the head unit on the hard drive based navigation.

That's a pain, that means that I cant move over my Sirius module to my new truck, has anyone used a signal amp to increase the XM reception? up in Northern BC the XM signal is spotty at best, failing that does anyone know an after market Nav unit that will drop in, supports Sirius (instead of XM) and works with the steering wheel controls?

Is anyone familiar enough with the Denso Nav unit for a 2013 Denali to tell me the pinouts at the back that would normally go to the rear entertainment system? I want to pipe the output from a Sirius radio into the rear of the head unit so that I dont have cables hanging around the dash, there are no audio or video inputs in the rear of the center console so I suspect that the harness isn't in place at this point

Anyone know the part number for the rear entertainment harness for a 2013 Denali equiped with a Denso HDD Nav unit? I think it plugs into the X3 input of the unit

Isn't sirius and xm radio the same? Don't they both get same reception? I do find xm signal weak.

No sirius and XM use different geo synchronous satellites, the Sirius satellites are more Northern than the XM ones so they work much better in Northern Canada

Did you ever get this figured out?? Greg from cps audio/video in California can get you the harness for the RSE to plug into the head unit. I used it to hook up rear head rest monitors to play movies for the kids.
