Wiring questions 2013 Sierra

I have a 2013 SLT that I added a stock navigation unit and have it programmed to the truck. Everything works but I need to get video feed into it from the backup camera? The truck did have factory backup camera that went thru the rearview mirror but I need to get it so it comes over the nav unit screen? Can someone tell me how too do it? Do I need to keep the original big mirror and run wires down from that or can I use a small mirror.

Also I added a factory rear sliding window and I put in a factory cab harness that connects into it but I still need to get power up to the switch on the overhead console? Can someone tell me how too do that too?

Thanks for the help, Jonathan 319-325-8791

Common question, I'm working with a similar issue, is the Nav a 2013 or earlier? if you pull it the 2013 will have 3 main plugins, a really big one X1, a smaller one X3 which is what I need so that I can add rear audio inputs and a similar sized one X4 which is white and is used for the backup camera, there's another post on this site regarding that plus an extremely good blog on the subject

I suspect although I'm by no means an expert that you will need a partial harness to go from the Nav up into the headliner since you clearly have the portion running to the rear of the truck, there is also a post on this site

I contacted Dan at United Radio this morning and told him what I needed, he made me up a custom harness to fit my HDD nav to give me an additional audio and video input, charged me $80
