Slow stop squeal - Rear drums?

Nope, parking brake was off. I'm thinking that the shoes had maybe a little more material than they should have. That's the only thing I can think of.

I won't know about the noise until the morning. Seems to only happen when the truck sits over night.

It is no big deal, most people notice the drum is a tight fit when it first goes back on after a shoe job. That is just because the drum is not seated all the way onto the hub and lug studs untill you have torqued the lug nuts down.

As for the noise, you left the part out about it only happens after the truck sits! If the noise is still happening even after you did this job, it is probably just the rust scale coming off the rotor. That is a very common issue! The rotors get a layer of surface rust after sitting for a while and it takes some time for the brake pads to rub the rust off and quiet things down again. I live right next to the ocean so every vehicle around here sqeaks after it sits. It is just the moist, saltly air rusting the rotors which causes noisey, extra grabby stops for the first few minutes.
