ABS malfunction light

I have my ABS lights come up on the dash quite frequently. They don't stay on all the time, but they are on more often than they are not. Sometimes they both turn on when I hit a bump, or sometimes when I hit the brakes. Where should I start looking for the cause of this? It seems like something is loose somewhere, or possibly broke.

 

I have also heard from people saying that this also causes the transfer case to not shift correctly, is this true? I have the 4 buttons on the dash.

nothing to do with t case ,get the EBCM scanned for a code and have it diagnosed or do it yourself

Thankgs govtech4. Where would I find that scanner at? Would O'Reilly's have this, or would this be a specialty mechanic's tool?

Parts stores can scan for codes IF their scanner is capable of retrieving ABS codes
