how to remove panel where dic buttons are

i ordered the panel which has the dic buttons in it for a new 2013 sierra 2500 hd. whats the easiest way to remove the panel as it should be here any day now thanks

Start pulling it off from the top left.

Agreed.....it pulls off cleanly with a little effort. The DIC panel is a great add-on too.

As everyone said start at the top left. Pay attention to the corners during removal and installation. I think there is a link to a video over in the 1500 section. It may be in the pinned mod thread. It's very simple just be paitient as you tug your way around the panel. I did mine a few weeks ago and if I can do it, anyone can.

thanks part came yesterday while at work. just installed took 5 min and works good. stay tuned for more questions as i have a few more things i would like to do to the truck

I just bought a 2013 and added the DIC. Makes no sense why Chevy doesn't install this on all vehicles. My only issue is my gas mileage readout. Am I really only getting 9 mpgs around town?

not sure what package you installed it on but with my dmax im showing just under 15 mpg around town mixed with a little highway.ive reset it a couple times and except for when i towed its pretty consistant. i only have 1400 miles on it and once i get to 2000 then ill check it manually. make sure you reset it or it will show from the start.

I have the 6.0. gas LT. Came with few options. Added the DIC. Apparently it just needed to learn although all the history of the vehicle is available, gallons consumed, engine hours, etc. Averaging just below 13 mpg according to the readout. I was worried for a minute
