Re-program after changing tire size?

I have a 2014 1500 Silverado that came with 265/65/R18 (31.6") tires. I would like to change to either a 275/65R18 (32.2") or preferably a 285/65R18 (33") tire. Will I need to re-program my truck? If, so will chevy do that for me? If I don't, will it cause any damage? Thanks for your help

Most aftermarket performance programmers have that parameter in the unit. If you don't get it right, the speedo will be off, and your dash will light up like a Christmas tree with check engine & ABS lights ... and you'll lose ABS function. Ask me how I know that one!! :D

Thanks. What was your original tire size, and how much bigger did you go?

I would like to go 275/70/18 but i'm hesitant to use such a tall tire. I tow a trailer and I'm afraid it will have a negative affect on on the gear ratio (I have a 342).

I went to 275/65/18 from 265s and it is off by like 1 MPH at 80. Below that the speedo matches GPS.
