Rear axle, 3.08 vs. 3.42 Explaining the difference

I have the towing package on my 14 lt with 3.08 gears, not sure why it came with that ratio

Go with the 3.42 you will be happier when towing.

 

I have 3.08's but the heaviest thing I pull is a seadoo and well that's nothing.

 

I'll re-gear one day for performance but I will go with 4.10's..can't get them stock so it didn't really matter what I got from factory.
