I'm just a little curious, I bought a set of dl3 mirrors yesterday and swapped them onto my truck and in the sunlight they look like they have a red hue to them. Is this right or is it possible to have overspray on them or something. Just wanted to ask the question before I tried reducer or thinner on them. The guy I bought them from told me they were swapped out at the dealer after 15 kms. Thanks

DON'T put thinner on them. Mine have a dark hue to them as well in certain light at certain angles. They are fine.

I'm guessing you did this to gain the turnsignals??

 

Where did the DL3 mirror wiring pigtail plug in at on your 2012? At the door latch??
