High Country

I optioned them both out on the website and had them within less than 1000 of each other. The High country would have been even more as I want the heated steering wheel, but to get it on the high country you have to add the driver alert package, which I wouldn't want. So the final spread could have been farther apart if not for that. That's really the thing that GM has set up really badly when it comes to the trucks. Everything is part of some package, they need to make things more individual options. That's part of the reason my Dad bought a second ram instead of going GM on his latest truck is that it was easier for him to get all the options the way he wanted from them.

GM is following what Ford does and that is to package trucks into category. Chevy for long time was awesome for individual options but I see that has finally died in 2014.

I will attest to RAM having the best building options for trucks. You can literally spec out almost every option individually. Not to mention you can get full loaded single cabs haha.

That is what I like. Now that they have the 8 speed available across the lineup a reg cab Express is tempting. If only the GVWR wasn't so low on Rams.
