2012 2500HD tire / wheel questions

I have a 2012 2500HD Ext Cab z71. It currently has the 18" 265/70/18 tires on it with the LT2 Michelin's. I purchased a set of JR Ribelle 20x9 with +20 offset but have not decided on a tire yet mainly because I do not know what it all will entail. I would like 285/55/20 at least but my understanding I would have to do a lot of cranking on the bars. Also the biggest reason for the truck is towing are trailer so how it drives is very important. Anyone like to chime in please feel free. Trying to gather as much info as possible..
