Scratched windshield

Had freezing rain tonight, didn't feel like waiting so I used a flashlight to remove a small section of ice so I could see.... I have no idea what I was thinking. I put small scratches in the window... Finger nail barely gets caught. The scratch has white in it? Don't know what it is.... Anyone have any good kits or advice to help me fix this?? I tried liquid wax.... Clay bar... Etc.. Please help!!! I'm still shocked I did it :/

New windshield or try one of those fix a chip places. Maybe they can fill in the scratches with the stuff they use to fill in chips.

Yup gonna go that route.. Don't wanna drop 250 on a new windshield over such small scratches..... There just so annoying.... Ugh

Can you blame it on someone else - like your wife? (I know just how you feel - all the stupid things I've done). But I think a windshield repair company can make it less obvious.

Haha that's funny because it's such a sick feeling of stupidity.... I can only blame myself even tho the wife would be a good one to blame.... Gah I'm gonna have to call near by places... I wish I could go back and just hit myself haha. STUPID!!!!

Edit* the wax actually helped quite a bit... Scratches are nearly gone

Wax is filling in the scratches. No wax will take scratches out of glass. It's a temp solution until the wax washes off.

Never used the stuff, but do some searching and you may find something. Also check out your autobody supply shops. They usually have many detailing products.

Definitely try to repair it (within reason). I'd make a real effort to keep from replacing it. That sometimes brings a whole new set of issues. I'm sure an auto glass repair company could do something or point you in the right direction.
