mpg?

I have a 94 gmc sierra with 3 in bl and 33s and im getting 11 mpg and wanna get 35s put on but dont wanna be getting 9 mpg any reason why its getting this low?

Big tires = large amount of rolling resistance. My 97 K1500 with 160k on odometer still gets 17 mpg cruising down freeway at 65 mph. Tires are OEM 265/75/16

I'm getting 16 on my truck with custom headers and other things that should bring it down but a throttle body spacer kinda saved me to get it back to square one

Ok if 35s dont fit well with offset rims ill stick 33s on it. If i give it a tune up, hypertech chip, stainless steel headers. Could i get mabe 1 more mpg and more power?

Do the calculations of what the total cost in useless aftermarket parts is and how much the 1 mpg gain will save you.. And you don't even know if you'll gain anything from that

 

And a programmer will be useless on an TBI 350

With stock sized tires in my well maintained 150k mile 94 I got 21 mpg freeway/highway before
