Day running lights

I have a 04 silverado does anybody know how to turn on the day time running lights I put in LEDS and want to see what they look like thanks

Unlock your truck at night. Or in the day time Key ON, Engine OFF, Parking brake ENGAGED, Gear Selector in D

I tried unlocking it and they still didn't turn on so I put the old one back in and it still didn't work and I know the old bulbs are still good do you think something could be wrong?

Do your reverse lights illuminate when unlocking? and side note... Stationed at Hill?

I'm in a level garage and the reverse lights still come on

Verify the DRL fuse is good and sockets arent burned. The Sockets were a problem on these trucks. Mine had to be replaced

The sockets look burnt on the top I will try that and see if they work thanks for your help

On top or where the bulb goes in? The issue is the bulbs were too hot for the socket. I have my newer ones if you are in need. About a year old and Delphi units.
