Accelerator pedal relay/switch - where is it?

Is there a relay or switch for the accelerator pedal other than the one that is built into the pedal assembly? I am getting a click when I release the gas pedal and it sounds like a relay under the dash right behind my knee. It doesn't do it with the truck's power on (engine off). Only when I'm driving.

It sounds like the clicking the relay or brake light switch makes when you push the brake pedal on some cars but in my case it does it when you let off.

Is there a relay or something under the dash that I can replace? Maybe mine is going out.

Ive seen these pedals work their way loose. It is just 2 ten millimeter sheet metal screws that mount them. Check that and loc-tite if necessary. You may be hearing the pedal assembly move a bit.
