'03 Chime

Can the door/light chime be disabled on my '03 2500HD GMC? It has two volume levels that can be set throught the DIC - Loud, and VERY Loud...

I believe that the wiring was changed a bit for 2003 and the sound is produced from the truck's main speakers.

  I scanned it with my FoxWell NT 630+, which is supposed to be able to catch seat belt warnings, and got nothing.
