My information does not have this circuit wiring, and was hoping one of you techs or someone with access could post it up for me. I bought a rear view mirror from trav a while back and never wired it since i did not know where it goes and i want to run the correct coller wire to the correct pin cavity were ever that is.. I know I can stick it on any accessory power source but i am a stickler of it being correct. I know the pin out for the mirror, but were does the power come from ie. right or left junction, lower left junction. thanks for your help

When I added the mirror with temp/compass in it from Travis, the auto dim part needed some connection from the passenger front door. I was not doing the install, the guy doing it showed me a message from a forum outlining the requirmeints for the auto dim to work. I do not recall the site or the details, but, it could not be enabled on my 2010 Sierra SL ExtCab just by adding a wire.

The only thing that worked without any changes was the compass, OnStar, and the temp showed 0C, which means open circuit. He added a temp sensor behind the grille (had to replace the inop one that Travis was nice enough to include with a new one from dealer, cost $6), ran wires back to mirror and used the plug that travis included for temp sensor. I have also replaced mirrors with ones from SLT model that have signals, pwr fold, heated, and dimming.

the gray wire that goes to the door is suppose to make your dl3 mirrors autodim through the little memeory box in the door. i just want the inside mirror to auto dim so i am trying to find out were the yellow wire is suppose to go

disregard the pink wire which i miss called the yellow goes to pin 1 on the x9 connector on left ip junction

is your power fold working? if so the the auto dim should as well if the two wires are added

No, power folding is not working. I recall something about it needing a harness, switch, and some haness work on right front door as well.

I find the factory tint on rear doors and back glass works good as a dimmer. In my case, door mirros were more important to me.
