2014 Alignment Specs

Any way you could check your glovebox for the RPO for the factory tire? Specs are all different depending on OE tire. QHX, QXT, QSS are the ones I think you should be looking for. Also, I checked your build thread, looks like a crew cab short box?

For anyone wanting to take their trucks in for alignment...

Anyone that does alignments would tell you RPO codes matter. There is a difference in wheel size and even between Goodyear and Bridgestones. If the shop is out of date they can always look it up on AllData or Mitchell. All alignment machines allow you to manually enter specs.

As for the dealer doing an alignment... Dealers will go with anything "within specs" and refuse to admit it's not right. Cross camber tolerance is like 0.5, I would never sell an alignment that I can't put within 0.1 degrees of cross camber or within 0.25 of cross caster specs. Anything beyond those real world differences can cause a vehicle to drive like crap.

Just found this out last week after getting an alignment post leveling kit. Small shop near where I live said that they haven't done a 2014 Silverado yet and pulled the RPO codes in the glovebox to get the updated specs. Fed them into their system and alignment came out perfect.

What is the RPO code? Closest tire I'm seeing is a 265/50/20. Specs for it are -0.10 camber R and L. 0.80 tolerance. 2.90 caster R and L. 1.00 tolerance. 0.10 total toe with 0.20 tolerance

where do I look and what type of code is it?

Glovebox, codes vary, but the tire codes would be in the Q through R section on the label. You could take a pic of the label and post it without the VIN.

They are all 3 letter/number combination codes. Example, Q1Z, R5X, etc.
