Truck ordering issue

I agree. It makes me wonder what is going on behind the scenes. Numbers are down on sales... Supplier issues... C'mon GM!

Agree as well! Sierra Denali 4x4 ordered on Dec. 30 with 6.2, sunroof and trailer brake. I think i counted 6 different constraints that could be on the vehicle. They can't sell the minimally equipped vehicles they have sitting on lots so you would think they wouldn't have to build any more of those and could focus on the SOLD $45,000 plus vehicles that many of us have ordered. Like several of you, I don't have a TPW yet either. Approximately 9 weeks and still counting. I will wait it out because this is THE vehicle that I want, but my dealer is going to have to sweeten the deal when it arrives.

I agree! I am in the same boat with my CC SLT with 6.2, sunroof and trailer brake. It seems like a no brainer to build what you have sold but then again it is GM....

On CONSTRAINT doesn't meant that it's not available - only that the numbers are limited. GM will usualy place customer orders ahead of standard dealer orders. But your dealer has to have allocation available to place the order and get it in the system first.
