Need some help with dash

I am new to the forum and I have a question for you guys. Please tell me some knows how to remove the front portion of a 2013 GMC Sierra SLT dash board. It is the portion that has the vents for the defroster and is separate from the main dash. I had some interior work done and it doesn't seem to be installed properly. Seems like it would be easy to remove but just don't want to risk damage if anyone could give me some input. Thanks in advance.
