Weird AC Smell

Gm sells a spray for this. Basically it's Lysol. Turn on the system full blower and spray a few ounces into the inlet at the base of the windshield. I've had to do this occasionally to our cars when the smell develops. Buy the least offensive Lysol scent. Not the original scent.

I think the base of the windshield is the defroster outlet, not the inlet. I thought the inlet was under the dash behind the console or under the glove compartment.

Yeah it should be where the cabin air filter is located.
