Sorry.  Geez.

I just posted them as soon as they went off here.  You didn't have to look at it tonight.  The topic of the thread made it painfully obvious what it was.

The Boss got robbed,   Norah Jones didn't deserve to win anything but new artist, and she still wasn't my pick for it..

She only have one single out off that dayum album, when every other artist nominated has 10's of songs released.

The clash tribute was killer  even though I never really liked their music.

Gwen sounded alot better last night,  that's how I like to here her sing, and faith hill was good but had on way to much makeup for the light they were using...  the chicks sounds good to.

Never really watch the show for the awards anyways  their rigged  no doubt about it...   the performances and the women are the only reason to keep me watching.

Yes, though I missed the show, the results are a bit of bs to put it mildly.  She comes out with 1 darn song and "rapes" the show if you will.  It seems to go that way sometimes though, lately they find a group/artist with 1 hit new song and run it into the ground.

Have you heard her album?  I'm not a big fan of the one song, but her other stuff is alot better IMO.  That would be why she got record and album of the year.  As for Song of the year and new artist of the year, I like her better than Michelle Branch, the only other one I did like in new artist was John Mayer.

But I watch for the performances too.  My favorite groups never even get nominated, except of course this year, and they didn't win.  Gov't Mule was nominated for best instrumental and lost to the Flaming Lips.  Oh well.  At least I got to see the Clash Tribute, it was awesome.

The Boss got robbed,   Norah Jones didn't deserve to win anything but new artist, and she still wasn't my pick for it..

She only have one single out off that dayum album, when every other artist nominated has 10's of songs released.

Larry, I couldn't agree with you more - Bruce got the shaft - and then Hoffman couldn't even say his name right on national TV!!

I think Norah Jones is good and I like her stuff, but there were other more deserving nominees in some cases.

But if you look historically, the Grammies have always been a bit of the flash-in-the-pan winners in a popularity contest anyway.

I was glad to see a female with actual talent win.  Man, like I said I'm not a huge fan of the song on the radio that is a hit, but the rest of Norah Jones' stuff is great.  She has that great JAZZ/BLUES voice.  Not very often do you see a female get much credit in the music industry anymore that is not like Briney or Christina.  And you RARELY see a bluesy sounding artist get anything either.  She's both, and I was glad to see her get the awards.  I usually hate the grammys for the same reason

But she has REAL TALENT which isn't nearly as common as it used to be in the popularity side of music industry.  The only person I could see beating her out for something would've been when she was up against Michele Branch and I'm not a big fan of her stuff so I was gald Norah won.  I do however, (like I've said in the past) think Michele Branch is very very talented.  I'm just not too into that style.
