Anyone get the Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max tires on their 2014?

Fuel efficient tires usually are a hard compound so they'll be loud despite the highway tread pattern and they don't grip well, especially so in the cold I'd imagine. Buying tires to save gas is never going to make financial sense either. If you want a good highway tire spend the money for Michelin and don't look back.

I have them, not much to say....the ride is smooth but sometimes they make a flap-flap noise on curves at moderate speed. I'll be upgrading to another brand when these are shot.

I'm mostly wondering if they're terrible. I'm currently negotiating with a dealer and the truck has these. The online reviews aren't very good and the dealer doesn't want to swap for the all terrains.

If i do get the truck I'll be upgrading to bigger off-road wheels and tires within a year anyway

So just wondering if they're tolerable while I save up and if I'd get any reasonable resale on them.

I had them. No issues. Drive OK in the snow, I would have kept them if I didn't upgrade to 20's down the road.

I have them and they are loud. Also have a slight vibration and it has decreased leading me to believe it's the tires. Not liking them so far.

I have them on mine. I've got a little over 2K on the truck and I don't notice any issues. It's quiet, handles well for a truck, and traction is good. I haven't been off pavement yet, or had it in snow, so I can't say much about that.

I'll probably go with a different tire when these wear out.
