Rearview Mirror

Has any one had an issue where the rear view mirror is to loose. When I flip the switch to dim headlights all is good, but when I flip it back down the mirror tilts down also . I then have to re position it back in place only to happen again when I flip the switch for headlights and then back in place.

 

Also it is very blurry when driving, like it is vibrating pretty bad. Is there something I can tighten? I would hate to take to dealer over this.

I have a slightly different issue with the rearview that I can't find a post on yet. I am not sure it is if due to the mirror being loose or not. If I adjust the rearview mirror where I can see out of it only a few days later it has dropped enough that I can only see half of the rear glass. I have to raise the mirror back up every two days. Simple thing but it is driving me crazy.

Position mirror where you want it and add a very small drop of instant glue at the ball joint. I do this to my dualsport motos to keep the mirror at the preferred position. drop should be no bigger than a pinhead. YMMV

Good idea. My wife doesnt drive the truck so it doesnt need to be adjusted much. Not super glue right? Somethign with less grip I assume?

A drop of glue? Are you kidding me? Take it to your dealer and demand a new mirror.
