As far as the parade lap there were older vettes and camaros just need to get a tix from a local dealer that has them. They are usually given to current customers this in turn having newer cars. Some of the local clubs also come across tix

Ryan, you need to hear this, the autoblog guy that hates the Camaro (due to awful ergonomics) was invited to the Indy Camaro weekend by Chevy, and given an SS to drive.

I listen to their podcast regularly, the guys on this show are big fans of domestic cars(the other two like the Camaro), but the one Chevy invited admits he doesn't "get" the Camaro.

Well, He said the recaro seats in the Mustang are much more comfortable, and the Camaro 1LE is amazing on a track, and for its intended purpose the Camaro is great. He just doesn't get why people care about the intended purpose.

 

And the other guys kinda make fun of hhim for not understanding the point of muscle cars. From what I've picked up he's an extreme WRX fanboy.

Yes a local dealership had a police escort guy in the middle of the pack in a Vette put his flashers on and went 55 this breaking up the caravan and making about 20 cars almost late. People were pissed

People who drive down publics roads with their flashers on.....at least they are advertising they are morons to the rest of us. Usually means one of two things: "Steer clear! I'm horrible at driving and shouldn't be on the road!" Or "This POS I put on public roads could kill you at any minute! Beware!"

 

Only time its allowed IMO is emergencies where your driving like a bat out of the Lake of Fire, and are prepared to pay a hefty ticket.

I kick on the hazards if I come upon blocked traffic. Idiots are so inattentive I figure the flashing lights might help some. On Tuesday I was stuck in traffic because while traffic was stopped up for a minor accident, a semi somehow failed to see the backed up traffic on a mostly flat and straight road and went off the road. Driver was killed and the truck burnt to the ground.

Bad thing with camaros are brake lights (not including 3rd brake light) are non functional with flashers on
