Recommendations on a replacement radio?

Truck in sig has the Bose system but not the nav and most importantly not a backup camera. I have a slide in truck camper mounted pretty much full time so the camera is important and navigation would be nice.

 

The local Car Toys recommended Kenwood but I will listen to any suggestions. Willing to spend what is necessary for a good system....especially nav and camera.

Stay away from the Kenwoods for now, WAY too glitchy. My Kenwood Excelon DNX890HD is total Bantha fodder and all I hear about the Excelon line right now is bad. A quick read through the Kenwood forum and you will know what I mean.

 

The Pioneer NEX line is getting good reviews and I have always had good luck with the Pioneer AVIC's. If I were to put in a new double din NAV unit today, it would most likely be the AVIC 8000NEX, and I may still yet. Or you could go with the AVIC 7000NEX depending on the features and price point you want.

 

The above mentioned Kenwood is in my 2009 GMC Sierra Denali.

Thanks for the heads up on the Kenwood.

Two other installers I talked to also seemed to prefer the new PioneerNEX line also.

 

Really the only reason I was looking at Kenwood is the Garmin NAV system they use.

I assume the Pioneer NAV is satisfactory?
