sears82 Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Hi iv been having problems with my 07 silverado classic wt 4.8L ext.cab my interior lights, power door locks, radio, reverse lights, daytime running lights, obd2 port, air conditioner, and all gauges (speedo and rpm still work tho) will not work just wondering if anyone may know what the problem could be.Iv checked all fuses and grounds and all seems good. I was thinking maybe the ignition switch or the BCM may be bad but im not sure how to test them. The truck starts and runs fine Thanks
ScottyBoy Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Has the truck ever been in an accident? There are several ground points near the bumper brackets and some along the frame under the driver door area that have been known to cause LOTS of problems if they become loose, damaged, or corroded. There are several on the engine and firewall too that can cause problems with interior electronics.
