16"x10" Backspacing Question

For those of you that are running 10" wide rims, what is the back spacing on them? I am moving up from my 8" wide rims and want to make sure I get the correct back spacing! how much additional trimming needs to be done with the 10" rims with a 6" PC lift on a 2500HD?

Thanks

You may want to contact ProComp to make sure, but ProComp recommended 3.5" of backspacing on 8" wheels for thier 1500 lift.

I have 4.5" on my 8" wheels and i rub slightly at full lock.

i've got 16x10 Eagle 589s w/ 4.5" bs.  The more the bs, the less your tires will stick out.  The less the bs, the more your tires will stick out.  Call procomp and see what they recommend.  Other than that, it's personal preference.

I have 16 x10 Weld Mountain Crushers on 35's with 4 5/8 back spacing.  I know you have seen all those pics of those guys running huge tires and rims sticking out but I would not recommend any more than that with independent suspension if it is going to be a everyday driver.  4wheel parts which owns a percentage of Pro Comp will not even put anything bigger than 8" rims on there newer chevy lifts when I was looking around and called them.  My mind was set for 10" just to give a little beefier look. I have a Superlift and they told me it would be better to put tens when you put a 6" lift.
