Hey all, I have a quick question. I drive a 2011 2500HD and I was in an accident the other day and which the other insurance dosnt wana pay out knowing it was the other womens fault and which it says that on the police report but im not even going to bother with it after all the problems its caused, plus, I just put in a claim on my own insurance along with them seeing its not my fault. My driver side window got scrached from the tow mirror shattering on it.

So in short, is there any way I can buff out the scratches in my window? They arent all that deep, so id like to give it a shot. Its just annoying having the outline of the mirror on my glass.

Thanks

Just to clear up a misconception a lot of people have, insurance companies have their own rules regarding determining fault in a collision. They will take the police report to get the facts as reported, then using their fault determination rules they will decide who they think is at what percentage of fault. In Ontario, all insurance companies use the same Fault Determination Rules to avoid any differences in opinions.

Now, back to the real question, you should be able to get some glass polish from your local glazing store. Not sure if it will work or not, but you could also try the headlight polishing kits. I would try it on a piece of glass you are not afraid of marking up first though.
