Replacing dash speakers

If they are the ones up on top of the dash they should be easy, IF you have a angle tip screwdriver or one of those 90 degree ones. (w/torx 15 I think) Just gets tight up by the windshield. Can't remember 100% the 95 blazer setup but I think thats really all you'd need.

If the magnets or baskets are much larger than the stock ones you will have a little modifying. Sometimes you can cut some of the plastic out. If you find the vent ducting in the way use a heat gun to soften and bend/move it out of the way. Angled screwdriver A.K.A. "Scewdriver" works great, but if you don't use it often you can by a cheapy from Harbor Freight. The best speaker I ever used in this application was an Infinity Kappa 4x6 plate(seperate tweeter/mid) Sounded great, but took some modification. You may want to consider installing a 100mfd capacitor in series with each of your new speakers to keep the low frequencies out of them.

Thats exactly what I have in my dash. They replaced some Boston Acoustics 4x6's. Infinity's was  BIG improvement in sound.

firecadet613, the hardest part is getting the grill off without breaking the clips. Only hard the first time, after you know how, you can pop them off in about 3 seconds flat. If you break a clip though, you might as well go and get a new grill because your (broken) one will rattle like he!!.

Pioneers should sound like night and day compared to your factory ones. Even if you are using the stock head unit.

Sounds good, they are 4x6's and according to crutchfields website they are an EZ fit so I shouldn't have to modify I assume.  Should I go ahead and replace all the speakers with Pioneers if I can get a good deal on some, will it really improve the sound that much?

Well just changed them out, piece of cake, even had the right size Torx angled driver in my toolbox .  Night a day difference between the little tiny stock ones.

Well worth the money.
