to Sync or not to Sync?

In all my domestic cars/suvs/trucks the dual zone HVAC system in them was always in sync UNTIL the passenger would adjust their side then it would allow them to have a different temp.

however in my 2014 GMC Sierra it's not in sync until I have to press it and being that I spend most of the time solo in my truck I find this REALLY annoying that I have to press that Sync each time I get into my truck.

is this just my truck or everyone else? and is there a fix?? hoping it's just me so I can take it in and get it fixed.

Strange. The 2015 Tahoe I drove a month ago would stay in sync I'm pretty sure.

My 2006 is the same way... I think it only stays the same in defrost and maybe floor. But since it's auto I rarely feel the need to adjust it.

Not referring to the 'auto' temp feature. when you choose drivers temp on all suv's/cars/truck's etc previous to this 2014 it automatically adjusts the passenger side to match unless the passenger adjusted their temp. and if you got out of the truck/etc it would reset to be in sync from drivers to passengers side again unless your passenger decides to adjust it again.

Now .. it's not in sync at all unless you hit the sync EVERYTIME you start the truck.

Hello ICE,

My apologies to hear of your frustrations. I would be happy to reach out to my internal resources to see if there is a way to change this setting. Please send me a private message with your contact information and VIN if you'd like me to look further into this.

Thank you,

Hey Ice.

I do believe mine always reverts back to sync as it should.

Just got in my truck and realized it doesn't revert back to sync. Hmmm not a big deal for me.
