What do you think of the 2014 Sierra NON Bose Radio / Speakers

This is good news, my 2008 has the worse door speakers, I cut them out and replaced them when one failed, but now the radio cuts on and off, I'm hoping the 2014 forward trucks have a better system, lord knows we pay enough for these trucks and GM makes enough on them.

I think my '14 Silverado LT non-Bose sounds better than my '10 Sierra SLT with Bose. I dunno.

My 2008 Tahoe LTZ had the Bose and it was the most horrible sounding system of any car I have ever owned. It was all mids and highs without even a hint of bass. These new systems have come a long way in my opinion.

The speakers in my 04 sierra looked like cardboard.....

The stock radio/speaker combo sound a lot better than my ears can hear. Much better than my wife's 07 Tahoe with middle of the road setup. I think that the quietness of the cab also has a lot to do with it.

I just upgraded my speakers in the non-bose. New speakers made a HUGE difference even without doing an amp. Went to kicker DSC 6x9 in front doors and matching 6.5" in the back doors on my CC.

I have the non Bose and really like them. Sound a hell of a lot better than the non Bose in my 2011 ( much clearer). Had planned on adding the aftermarket sub/box/amp that is a dealer add-on but found out its for crews only not doubles. Kinda bummed so may look into adding a 10" aftermarket sub and box if I find one that works well under the rear seat.
