Silverado vs. f150 vs. ecodiesel ram

ECOtech..., ECOboost...,ECOdiesel..., Its a race to the bottom for that 1 mpg better than the other guy. If I hear ECO prefix one more term on a TRUCK ....UGH!!! There is no replacement for cubic inches. There is a reason those OLD pushrod V8s run forever. If it aint broke don't fix it. Give me a big cubic inch V8 that will pull stumps just off idle over a turbo 2.7 that you have to spool up like a sewing machine any day. And by the way, You ever bolt a supercharger or turbo to a large V8?. Awesome. With the advancements in todays electronic fuel injection, V V T, you could squeeze 20 MPG out of an old big block. Those stupid ECO nerds.
