Leveling kit for 2WD

New to the forum...

We got the kid a truck for graduation and he's wanting to get a leveling kit for it. Most likely the 2"/2.5" RC kit or ReadyLift. My only experience is with 4x4's in the past. Anything different to consider with leveling a 2WD?

Anyone have pics of a 2WD that's been leveled?

Any help is appreciated!

I put the 2" on my 2wd. Nothing different in kits between 2wd and 4x4. I think the 2wd has more rake so the 2.5" might make it more level as mine still has slight rake.

Nothing different between 2WD and 4WD leveling kits. It's all just a spacer on top or bottom (or both) of the strut. I have 2.5" level on my 2WD Z71 and it sits very level, just .5" lower in the front.

Considering a 2.5 inch on my 4x2 as well, is an alignment necessary after the install?

I did get an alignment after my level. I was told by several people and i read it on here somewhere it was best to get it done. Better safe than sorry.
