New Guy don't know what forum - lower rear end

I just bought a new 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 2WD regular cab yesterday. The rear is about 4.5" higher than the front. What is a good way to lower the rear to match the front without spending a lot of money? The color of my truck is iridium, is it black or dark charcoal?

Thanks!

Probably should be posted in the "2014+ Leveling Kits"... here... http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/153363-2014-leveling-kits/

To answer your question, you can remove the rear blocks that lift the truck over the rear axle. Doesn't cost you anything and it will lower the rear by the height of the block.

I leveled mine by adding a Ready Lift 1.5 Level kit to the front suspension. Cost about $160 installed, but again, if you do it yourself, it would only be about $50.

Iridium is the same as "Tungsten" in the Silverado... dark grey with a hint of gold metallic.
