Help! Door molding peeled off

The exterior door molding on my 06 Ext Cab silverado peeled back on a 4 hour drive over the weekend. I peeled it all the way off. How do I get the old tape/glue off of my truck? Where can I get just the front door molding? I would try to reuse the existing one but its bent in a 90degree angle from the long drive blowing it back.

You can try Goo Gone or maybe even easier just heat it up and peel off the old stuff. As far as replacement parts, LMC truck.com or the dealer. There's bound to be other places but that's what off top of my head.

Use an air pressured rubber wheel. I do it all the time at the body shop i work.

As for the molding GM or maybe LMC

I just did that to my 09

I started using the eraser wheel but found that it was wasting away to quickly so I used a welding glove and my fingers to remove the old double sided tape.

After the majority of the tape was gone, i used the eraser wheel to clean things up. Then i used some rubbing compound and now you cant even tell they were there.

Goo Gone did the trick for me on my 05.

Thanks! Did yall reapply the molding with 3M tape or glue? A buddy told me just to use glue instead of tape.
