TPMS fuse

I know this topic is like beating a dead horse, but I couldn't find any info on if you were to pull a fuse to disable the TPMS....what else comes along for the ride. I'm considering a dedicated snow tire setup for my 08 sierra and was considering not getting the TPMS, but it would be nice to not have the warning light on the dash come on......and not have to use the 'black tape' idea. Any thoughts? I may end up going with some used TPMS anyway, so this may be a moot point, but wanted to understand how the system worked a bit better anyway. Thanks....

Would help people if you stated what year truck you have. But regardless, I do not think you can disable it.

Just buy new ones with your new wheels/tires and repair them.

There is no one fuse for it. I say just live with the idiot light. I did this in my Subaru with winter tires.

I think things did change with my year truck as well. From what I understand (as stated here too) is that it's linked to a few different fuses and those fuses control more than one thing. Don't think it's worth much more digging.....I'll either live with the light for 4months or see if I can find some used tpms. just wanted to make sure that I was covering all bases. Thanks.
