Question about crew cab handling !

Recommended Posts

Posted

My order for my 15 ltz crew cab silverado is at 3400 today and is set for being built the week after next.

3 guys I know who have 14's say they wish the silverado didn't have as much body roll.

After my test drive I guess that is something I didn't notice. Just wondering if someone has come out with a rear sway bar to fix this yet? That's if there is an issue.

I don't notice this on mine, but I have z71 LT crew. I've heard z71 is stiffer than non z71.

I've not noticed that much roll on my HC. Quite the opposite, it sticks in curves better than the F150 CC I had. The circular test done, I don't recall the name, where vehicles are tested for traction break shows the GM trucks doing well.

Go test drive another one and see what you think.

I have a 4x4 crew cab( non Z71) and it hugs curves like a sports car. Handles much better then any of the F150's and prior silverados i've owned.

I have the hellwig bars front and rear on my crew cab ltz and really like them. I put the rear bar on first one week end and than put the front bar on the next w/e. it's a noticeable difference on either one.

Same here..... 4x4 CC Z71... corners like it's on rails.
