2014 sierra Bugshield

The way the hood is is shaped and how it sits along with how it seals you will never see any other type of bug shield. You would have to raise the hood so much to get an under mounted one on you would have half inch gaps along the hood seams.

They did this to reduce the drag and save gas.

Anybody found a good bugsheild for the 14 sierra that deosnt tape on or use clips that go over the hood?

I know you mentioned no tape on kind but take a look at the AVS Aeroskin, had one on a Tacoma and now I got one for my Silverado and love the way they look. Very clean looking.

I also have the AVS Aeroskin (chrome) and love it. I usually got the other bug shields but this one gives the truck a better look. No issues if you have to go through a car wash etc. Overall, I am very happy with it and had it installed about a year now. I would not go back to the old design.
